Deepening your communication

What frees you to truly interact with another (say for this example at work)?

What allows you to listen deeply? the words and behind the words.

Can you listen with your whole heart and senses, recalling what you need to recall, not feeling obliged to solve or put a situation right?

Letting what's being said , like water, swirl around the bowl l, lap at its sides.

Holding your ego back enough for something new to emerge.

Watch the other expand in their ability and confidence.

Feel your own spaciousness and determination emerge unimpeded by your current misperception of yourself.

You are not going to feel this everyday or for every situation but in really difficult and complex times.

Then the ability to create this sort of communication is priceless.

It touches the transpersonal, it engages something much bigger than ourselves. It enables us tread through difficult and painful territory and still hold others as we go.
